The Adventurists' Xmas Bash

We ventured out with the adventurists last Friday. After quick stop at the fancy dress shop, we popped in for some xmas drinks with bemused work colleagues before the big do. The party itself was steampunk themed - check the photo's (bad as none of us thought to bring a proper camera)...

Welcome to The Incaredibles. We hardy bunch of 3 persons are taking on the challenge of our lives, you can follow us right here. Laugh at us or with us, worry as you feel our struggle and feel joyous as you share our glory. We are nothing without you! Blah, getting a bit melodramatic now and we've only just begun. So what have we started?

Well in summary we're going to traverse 1,000miles of mountain, desert and jungle in deepest darkest Peru (the unroute) in a vehicle more suited for pootling tourists around town (the motortaxi). The brakes are inadequate, the vehicle is fragile, our repair skills are as yet non-existent and our 1st aider is a bit out of practice. We're idiots. But spirited idiots with a sense of adventure and no pressing responsibilities. And we aim to raise a lot of money for people in South America, a place dear to my heart after a couple of trips.
